Sunish-Jay-JapanMr. Sunish Parakkel, one of the earliest Malayali in Japan arrived in the year 1984 and has since grown to be successful in business managing an enterprise that does business in over 50 countries around the world. The growth of Mr. Sunish Parakkel has been phenomenal from the days of starting out as a young salesman for an Indian trading company to setting up an enterprise that dominates the Japanese market in his business domain. His experience and success in selling industrial machinery initially saw him being hired as sales manager by Fujitsu Media Device Limited. In the year 2001 he created Jay Enterprises Limited, a trading company dealing in used printing & paper related industrial machinery. With more than 3 decades of living experience in Japan, he created a business which helps to promote small and medium enterprises in India and other developing countries while also solving ecological problems in Japan.

Mr. Sunish Parakkel and family have played an important role in the welfare of the Malayali community in Japan. He and his wife have been very active members of Nihon Kairali, the Malayali association in Japan. His active involvement and efforts in trying to spread Kerala’s culture and tradition to other Indians as well as locals in Japan is commendable. He is always in the forefront of organizing events that unfurl the culture of his homeland in Japan. He has also sponsored an Indian cricket team in Tokyo.

As a successful businessman and a community leader he has an extensive network of people within and outside Japan. Mr. Sunish is also a member of Loka Kerala Sabha constituted by Government of Kerala. He is married to Jaini Parakkel and has two sons, Sujay and Sanjay.
