GARSHOM BEST MALAYALEE ASSOCIATION AWARD 2025

All Mosco Malayalee Association (AMMA) The All Moscow Malayalee Association (AMMA), founded in 1998 by a visionary group of Malayalee students and entrepreneurs, has evolved into one of the most vibrant and influential Indian community organisations in Russia. For more than twenty-five years, AMMA has been dedicated to preserving and promoting Kerala’s rich cultural heritage while fostering unity, social engagement, and community service among the Indian diaspora in Moscow.

AMMA’s annual festivities—Onam, Vishu, Kerala Piravi, Christmas, Easter, and Ramadan—serve as major cultural landmarks, drawing large gatherings of community members, dignitaries, and officials from the Embassy of India. Its 2023 Silver Jubilee celebration welcomed nearly 900 attendees for an authentic Kerala Sadya, marking one of the largest Malayalee gatherings in Russia. In 2025, AMMA successfully hosted its 27th Onam celebration with close to 1,000 participants enjoying vibrant cultural performances and festive traditions.

In 2024, AMMA achieved a major milestone by registering as an official NGO dedicated to promoting Indian culture in Russia, further strengthening its institutional presence. Over the years, the association has presented renowned artists including O. N. V. Kurup, Usha Uthup, Vidhu Pratap, Vineeth, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, enriching Moscow’s multicultural landscape.

Beyond cultural promotion, AMMA actively engages in charitable and humanitarian initiatives supporting communities in both Russia and India, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and diaspora welfare.
