Nihonkairali, Japan

Nihonkairali was established a couple of decades ago with a small group of approximately 20 members and has now grown into an organization with more than 1500 members. Nihonkairali serves as a platform for Keralites living in Japan for holding social events, bringing together its people and offering support and help to each other for a comfortable life in Japan. Blessed with an innate sense of togetherness, Nihonkairali, the Japan malayali community, aims at curtailing any cultural and social alienation of Japanese Malayalees. The main objective of this organization is to provide a non-political forum to bring together the Japanese Malayalee community and strengthen the common bonds of culture, tradition and way of life. Nihonkairali stands as a support mechanism for supporting Malayalees in Japan. The volunteers of Nihonkairali are always ready to help and support with any requirements that any Malayalee may have in Japan be it related to job, medical, living in Japan or legal issues.

The main activities of Nihonkairali include organizing cultural programs, family get-together, picnics and celebrating major festivals of Kerala.

Nihonkairali has also been undertaking charity activities under it’s charity wing called SAS CARE. Under SAS CARE, the association has been providing financial support to critically ill patients in Kerala who are financially weak for pursuing medical treatment. The group has also been extending financial assistance to young talents in Kerala to meet their educational expenses. The group has until now supported more than 40 patients, multiple schools and individual students, has conducted cloth collection drive and has supported more than 5 orphanages.
