ക്വാലാലമ്പൂര്: അപകടത്തില്പ്പെട്ട എം.എച്ച് 370 മലേഷ്യന് വിമാനത്തിനായുള്ള തിരച്ചില് സംഘത്തിന്റെ അവസാന കപ്പലും ഉദ്യമം മതിയാക്കി. ഡച്ച് കപ്പലായ ഫര്ഗോ ഇക്വട്ടോര് ആണ് തിരച്ചില് മതിയാക്കി പോകുന്ന അവസാന കപ്പല്. 2014 മാര്ച്ച് എട്ടിനാണ് മലേഷ്യയില് നിന്നും ബീജിങ്ങിലേക്ക് പോയ എം.എച്ച് 370 വിമാനം കാണാതായത്. 12 ജീവനക്കാരടക്കം 239 പേരായിരുന്നു വിമാനത്തില്. 2017 ആദ്യം വരെ തിരച്ചില് തുടരാമെന്നായിരുന്നു നേരത്തെയുള്ള തീരുമാനം.
കപ്പലിന് അനുവദിച്ച ഭാഗത്തെ തിരച്ചില് കഴിഞ്ഞതിനാലാണ് തിരിച്ചുപോകുന്നതെന്ന് അധികൃതര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഫര്ഗോ ഇക്വട്ടോര് അസ്ത്രേലിയന് തുറമുഖമായ ഫ്രമന്റിലിലേക്കാണ് തിരിച്ചത്. അപകടശേഷം ചൈന, ആസ്ത്രേലിയ തുടങ്ങി വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ സഹായം തിരച്ചിലിനായി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാണാതായ വിമാനം ആദ്യം ഇന്ത്യന് മഹാസമുദ്രത്തില് വീണെന്നായിരുന്നു കണ്ടെത്തല്.
എന്നാല്, പിന്നീട് ഫ്രാന്സിന്റെ അധീനതയിലുള്ള റീയൂണിയന് ദ്വീപില് നിന്നും കഴിഞ്ഞ ജൂണില് വിമാനത്തിന്റേതെന്ന് കരുതുന്ന അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങള് കണ്ടെത്തി. അന്വേഷണം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച അധികൃതരോട് കൂടുതല് അന്വേഷണം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് യാത്രക്കാരുടെ ബന്ധുക്കള് രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
