വെറുപ്പും വിദ്വേഷവും വ്യാപിക്കുന്നത് തടയാന് നടപടികള് സ്വീകരിക്കണമെന്ന യൂറോപ്യന് യൂണിയന്റെ ആഹ്വാനത്തെ തുടര്ന്നാണ് നാലു കമ്പനികളും സംയുക്ത പദ്ധതിയുമായി മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങിയത്. മുമ്പ് അമേരിക്കന് രഹസ്യന്വോഷണ ഏജന്സിയായ എഫ്.ബി.ഐ സാമുഹിക മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ തീവ്രവാദം പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിവരം പുറത്തുവിട്ടിരുന്നു. മറ്റ് കമ്പനികളും ഈ പദ്ധതിയില് പങ്കാളികളാകുമെന്നാണ് കണക്ക് കൂട്ടലുകളെന്ന് നാല് കമ്പനികളുടെ മേധാവികളും അറിയിച്ചു.
