Singapore: The 20th Garshom International Awards were presented at a grand ceremony held at the Orchid Country Club in Singapore, celebrating exceptional contributions by distinguished Malayalees across the globe. The awards were conferred by Mr. Terry Alan Farris (USA) and Mr. Rudy Fang (Singapore). Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Ajith Kolassery, CEO of NORKA ROOTS, emphasized the significant role played by Malayalees worldwide and highlighted their growing global influence and contributions.
This year’s awardees include Sajeev Narayanan (Kuwait), Alex Abraham (Philippines), Suchetha Satish (UAE), Mumshad Mannambeth (Singapore), Savio James (Ireland), and D. Sudheeran (Singapore). The Best Malayali Organization Award was presented to the All Moscow Malayali Association (AMMA), Russia.
In conjunction with the awards ceremony, the ASEAN+ Business Dialogue was held, bringing together entrepreneurs and experts from 24 countries to discuss emerging opportunities and strengthen international business collaborations.
The event was held in the presence of Jaijo Joseph, Syndicate Member, Goa University; Ivan Nigli, former MLA of Karnataka; Jins Paul, Founder and President of the Garshom Foundation; Joseph Scaria Junior, Director of Garshom 2.0 initiative.
