അഡോള്ഫ് ഹിറ്റ്ലറുടെ ഓസ്ട്രിയയിലെ വിവാദ ജന്മഗൃഹം ഓസ്ട്രിയന് പാര്ലമെന്റ് നിയമ നിര്മ്മാണത്തിലൂടെ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു. ഉടമസ്ഥയായ ഗെര്ലിഡ പോമമര് ഈ കെട്ടിടം വിട്ടുനല്കുവാന് തയാറാകാഞ്ഞതിനെതുടര്ന്ന് നീണ്ട നിയമയുദ്ധങ്ങള്ക്കൊടുവിലാണ് കെട്ടിടം സര്ക്കാരിലേക്ക് എത്തുന്നത്.
വിയന്ന: വര്ഷങ്ങള് നീണ്ട വിവാദങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിരാമമിട്ട് അഡോള്ഫ് ഹിറ്റ്ലറുടെ ഓസ്ട്രിയയിലെ വിവാദ ജന്മഗൃഹം ഓസ്ട്രിയന് പാര്ലമെന്റ് നിയമ നിര്മ്മാണത്തിലൂടെ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു. ഉടമസ്ഥയായ ഗെര്ലിഡ പോമമര് ഈ കെട്ടിടം വിട്ടുനല്കുവാന് തയാറാകാഞ്ഞതിനെതുടര്ന്ന് നീണ്ട നിയമയുദ്ധങ്ങള്ക്കൊടുവിലാണ് കെട്ടിടം സര്ക്കാരിലേക്ക് എത്തുന്നത്. 1889 ല് ഹിറ്റ്ലര് ജനിച്ച മൂന്നു നില കെട്ടിടമാണ് സര്ക്കാര് പിടിച്ചെടുത്തത്. ഓസ്ട്രിയയിലെ ജര്മ്മനിയുമായി അതിര്ത്തി പങ്കിടുന്ന ഓബര് ഓസ്ട്രിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ബ്രൌനൌ ആം ഇന് എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഹിറ്റ്ലര് ജനിച്ചത്.
അതേസമയം ഹിറ്റ്ലറുടെ ജന്മഗൃഹം ഇടിച്ചു നിരത്തില്ലെന്ന് ജില്ലാ ഭരണാധികാരി ജോസഫ് പ്യൂരിങ്ങര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഓസ്ട്രിയന് ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രി വോള്ഫ്ഗാംങ്ങ് സോബോട്ട്ക, മേയര് യോഹന്നാസ് വൈഡ്ബാഹര് എന്നിവരുമായി ചര്ച്ച നടത്തിയശേഷമാണ് അദേഹം ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. ഇതൊരു സാമൂഹ്യ ക്ഷേമ കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി മാറ്റുവാനാണ് തീരുമാനമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. കെട്ടിടം എങ്ങനെ ഉപയോഗിക്കണം എന്നത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് തീരുമാനിക്കാന് ഒരു വര്ക്കിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റിയും സര്ക്കാര് രൂപീകരിച്ചു.
ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയ പ്രതിനിധികളും സംസ്ഥാന ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്റെയും ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്റെയും പ്രതിനിധികളടങ്ങുന്ന കമ്മിറ്റിയായിരിക്കും ഭാവിയില് കെട്ടിടമെന്ത് ചെയ്യണമെന്നു തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നത്. കെട്ടിടം പോളിച്ചു കളയണമെന്നും ഭാവിയില് ഇതൊരു നിയോ നാസി തീര്ത്ഥാടന കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി മാറ്റുവാന് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നും ഒരുവിഭാഗം വാദിക്കുമ്പോള് മറ്റൊരു വിഭാഗം ഇത് ചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണന്നും പൊളിക്കരുതെന്നും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
