മസ്കറ്റ്: ഇന്ത്യയും ഒമാനും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധത്തിന് ഉഭയകക്ഷി പങ്കാളിത്ത മാതൃകയാകാന് കഴിയുമെന്ന് വിദേശകാര്യ സഹമന്ത്രി എം.ജെ. അക്ബര്. ഉഭയകക്ഷി വ്യാപാരവും നിക്ഷേപവുമാണ് ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങള്ക്കുമിടയിലെ ബന്ധത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാന ശിലകളെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. മസ്കറ്റില് നടക്കുന്ന അഞ്ചാമത് ഇന്തോഅറബ് പങ്കാളിത്ത സമ്മേളനത്തില് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു എം.ജെ. അക്ബര്.
ഇന്ത്യക്കും ഒമാനുമിടയില് കഴിഞ്ഞ 70 വര്ഷമായി നയതന്ത്ര പങ്കാളിത്തം നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു. ഇരു രാജ്യത്തെയും ജനങ്ങള് തമ്മിലുള്ള സൗഹൃദവും വ്യാപാരനിക്ഷേപ ബന്ധവും ഏറെ പ്രാധാന്യമേറിയതാണ്. ഇന്ന് ഒമാനില് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരും ഒമാനികളും ചേര്ന്ന് നടത്തുന്ന 3000ത്തോളം സംരംഭങ്ങളുണ്ട്. മൊത്തം 750 കോടി യു.എസ് ഡോളര് നിക്ഷേപമാണ് ഈ സംരംഭങ്ങളിലുള്ളത്.
സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ, ആരോഗ്യം, ഔഷധം, പുനരുപയുക്ത ഊര്ജം, ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷ, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, വൈദഗ്ധ്യ വികസനം, വിനോദസഞ്ചാരം തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങളില് സമ്മേളനത്തില് ചര്ച്ച സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ബുധനാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയ ഇന്തോഅറബ് സമ്മേളനം വ്യാഴാഴ്ച സമാപിക്കും.
