വിഷന് 2030 വിഭാവന ചെയ്യുന്ന നയത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് സൗദി ടെലികോം കമ്പനി ഓണ്ലൈന് ടാക്സി സേവന മേഖലയില് നിക്ഷേപം നടത്തുന്നതെന്ന് അധികൃതര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഓണ്ലൈന് ടാക്സി സേവന രംഗത്ത് അമേരിക്ക ആസ്ഥാനമായി പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന യൂബര് 3.5 ബില്ല്യന് ഡോളര് മൊബൈല് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷന് നിക്ഷേപിക്കുമെന്ന് ജൂണില് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. യൂബറിന്റെ സൗദിയിലെ മുഖ്യ എതിരാളികളാണ് കരിം. 2012ല് സ്ഥാപിതമായ കരിം പശ്ചിമേഷ്യ, ആഫ്രിക്ക, തുര്ക്കി, പാക്കിസ്ഥാന് എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ 47 പട്ടണങ്ങളില് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
