ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: ആദായനികുതി വകുപ്പ് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയില് ഡല്ഹിയിലെ ആക്സിസ് ബാങ്ക് ശാഖയില് 15 വ്യാജ അക്കൗണ്ടുകള് കണ്ടെത്തി. ചാന്ദ്നി ചൗക്ക് ബ്രാഞ്ചില്നിന്നാണ് വ്യാജ അക്കൗണ്ടുകള് കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇവയില് നിന്ന് 70 കോടി രൂപയും പിടിച്ചെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. കെവൈസി നിബന്ധനകള് പാലിക്കാത്ത 44 അക്കൗണ്ടുകളില് നിന്നായി 100 കോടി രൂപയും കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 450 കോടി രൂപയുടെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങള്ക്ക് വ്യക്തമായ രേഖകളും ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ബാങ്ക് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തുവരികയാണ്.
ഗുജറാത്തില് 76 ലക്ഷത്തിന്റെ പുതിയ നോട്ടുകളുമായി പോകുന്നതിനിടെ നാലുപേരെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. സംഭവത്തില് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു. അതിനിടെ, മുംബൈയിലെ മട്ടുങ്കയില് 85 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുമായി ഒരാള് പിടിയിലായി. 2000 തിന്റെ പുതിയ നോട്ടുകളാണ് ഇയാളില് നിന്നു പിടികൂടിയത്.
