ബർലിൻ: ജർമനിയിൽ ഉള്ളത് 17.2 ദശലക്ഷം കുടിയേറ്റക്കാരെന്ന് ഔദ്യോഗിക റിപ്പോർട്ട്. രാജ്യത്തെ മൊത്തം ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ 21 ശതമാനമാണിത്. 2014 ല് അധികമായി 1.8 ദശലക്ഷവും 2015 ല് ഏകദേശം 1.1 മില്യണ് അഭയാര്ഥികളും ജര്മനിയിലേയ്ക്കു കുടിയേറി. ഇന്റഗ്രേഷന് കോഴ്സുകള് നടത്തുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണം കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു വര്ഷത്തിനുള്ളില് ഗണ്യമായി വര്ദ്ധിച്ചു. 2013 നും 2015 നും ഇടയില് 69,2 ശതമാനം ആളുകളാണ് ഇത്തരം കോഴ്സുകളില് പങ്കെടുത്തത്.
കുടിയേറിയവരില് സിറിയന് (19.2%), പോളണ്ട് (8.8%), റൊമാനിയ (8.6%), ബള്ഗേറിയ (6.6%), ഇറ്റാലിയന് (4.4%), തുര്ക്കി (4.0%), ഗ്രീക്കുകാര് (2.9%), ഇറാഖികള് (2.4%), സ്പെയിന് (2.4%), ഹംഗറി (2.2%) എന്നിവരാണ് അധികവും. കടിയേറിയവരില് മൂന്നിലൊന്നു ശതമാനം അതായത് 3.65 ദശലക്ഷം പേര് 15 വര്ഷം വയസില് താഴെയുള്ള കുട്ടികളും കൗമാരക്കാരുമാണ്. ഇവരില് 2.9 ദശലക്ഷം പേര് 2015 ല് ജര്മന് പൗരത്വവും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
തൊഴില്രഹിതരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് വിദേശികളായി 14.6 ശതമാനമുണ്ട്. എങ്കിലും തൊഴിലുള്ളവരുടെ എണ്ണം 7.72 മില്യനില് നിന്ന് 7.54 വര്ദ്ധിയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 27,7 ശതമാനം പേര് ദാരിദ്യ്രത്തിലേയ്ക്കു കൂപ്പുകുത്തുന്നവരാണ്. മുന്പ് ഇത് 12.5 ശതമാനം ആയിരുന്നത് ഇപ്പോള് ഇരട്ടിയായി ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
