ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: ഡല്ഹിയില് 3.25 കോടി രൂപയുടെ അസാധു നോട്ടുകള് പിടികൂടി. കരോള് ബാഹിലെ ഒരു ഹോട്ടലില്നിന്നാണ് നോട്ടുകള് പിടികൂടിയത്. രഹസ്യവിവരത്തെ തുടര്ന്ന് ആദായനികുതി വകുപ്പും ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് വിഭാഗവും സംയുക്തമായി നടത്തിയ റെയ്ഡിലാണ് അസാധുനോട്ടുകള് പിടികൂടിയത്. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അഞ്ച് പേരെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
മുംബൈ ക്രേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചുള്ള ഹവാല ഇടപാടുകാരുടേതാണ് പണമെന്ന് സംശയിക്കുന്നതായി ആദായനികുതി വകുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് പറഞ്ഞു. അതിവിദഗ്ദ്ധമായായിരുന്നു നോട്ടുകള് പായ്ക്ക് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളിലെ സ്കാനറുകളില് നോട്ടുകള് പതിയാതിരിക്കുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി ടേപ്പുകളും വയറുകളും ഉപയോഗിച്ചായിരുന്നു പായ്ക്കിംഗ്. പിടിയിലായവരുടെ മൊബൈല് ഫോണ് വിവരങ്ങളും മറ്റും പോലീസ് പരിശോധിച്ചു വരികയാണ്.
